A little about Bob Mosier....
Sheriff Bob Mosier and wife Cindy - a former Fauquier Deputy currently serving with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law enforcement Affairs - have been married for almost 32 years, live in Warrenton Virginia, have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren with another baby on the way.
Since taking office in 2016 Sheriff Mosier has overseen notable accomplishments that embrace the values of leadership, innovation, and community-policing.
Most notably,
Sheriff Mosier led the Fauquier County Sheriff’s office through the law enforcement accreditation process. This process highlights agencies that practice the best law-enforcement practices through meeting 190 law-enforcement standards. Through this process, Fauquier County received distinguished recognition – taking its role among the top 25% of Virginia Accredited Law Enforcement Institutions – and expanded the opportunities for Fauquier County.
This is the first time in Fauquier County history that accreditation has been achieved.
